DESCRIPTION:Join the Okotoks and District Fish and Game Association (ODFGA) for Family Day Ice Fishing at Kids Can Catch at Chain Lakes Reservoir. This all-ages event is open to the public to come out and try their hand at ice fishing. Bring your own fishing rods if you have one! We have some you can borrow. Out on the reservoir\, you will find pre-drilled holes\, fishing mentors\, and more! \n\n\n\nImportant Information\n\n\n\n\nFollow signage\, stop by white canvas tent for registation\, refreshments\, and gear\n\n\n\nBring your own fishing rod (if you have one)\n\n\n\nFishing rods will be available to borrow\n\n\n\nFishing mentors on hand to help new anglers\n\n\n\nInformation available on fishing and conservation\n\n\n\nBring a lawn chair\, food\, drinks\, and dress warmly\n\n\n\nFree hot chocolate\, coffee\, and $1 hot dogs (cash only) available while supplies last\n\n\n\nGiveaways for youth\n\n\n\nWheelchair\, stroller\, and wagon access is not guaranteed due to snow cover on the ice\n\n\n\nOuthouses are available in the park\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFishing Licenses are not required on Alberta’s Family Fishing Weekend. Alberta Sportfishing Regulations still apply.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Sponsors\n\n\n\n\nAlberta Conservation Association\n\n\n\nCalgary Fish and Game Association\n\n\n\nFresh Live Bait\n\n\n\nHigh River Fish and Game Association\n\n\n\nOkotoks & District Fish and Game Association\n\n\n\nThe Fishin’ Hole\n\n\n\nZone 2 Alberta Wildlife Federation
