ODFGA Family Barbecue Brings Members Together at Crystal Shores

On Sunday, July 13, the Okotoks and District Fish & Game Association held our annual Family Barbecue at the scenic Crystal Shores Beach House. The afternoon brought together members, their families, and friends for a day filled with sunshine, great food, and community spirit.

Guests enjoyed full access to the beach and lake, where many took advantage of the warm weather with a swim or time relaxing under umbrellas by the water. Children and adults alike joined in on casual games, while others simply enjoyed the chance to unwind and catch up with friends in a beautiful setting.

Our president kept the grill going with fresh hot dogs, complemented by cold drinks to keep everyone refreshed. The two gazebos provided shade and a welcoming place to gather, while the lakeside backdrop made the day feel extra special.

Events like these are a reminder of the value of community and the opportunities we have to connect with one another outside of our regular meetings and activities.
