2024 Winter Clothing Drive

The Okotoks and District Fish and Game Association participated in a winter coat drive. Winter jackets, coats, footwear, toques, scarves, and mittens for men, women and children were donated by club members to be passed on to the Okotoks “Jacket Racket”. Headed up by the Okotoks United Church and supported by others, Jacket Racket collects gently used winter clothing to be passed on to people in the community who need it but perhaps don’t have access. 

Members brought their donations to the October General Meeting. At that meeting, Okotoks United Church representative (and also an ODFGA member) Karen Pryznyk addressed the meeting sharing her thanks. She gratefully accepted the big stack of donations. We know they all went to good use.
